Assessments:

The stroke clinic assessment aims to place swimmers in the correct group based on age and ability. It is highly recommended that every prospective clinic participant attend one of the assessment dates so we can assess the proficiency and legality of all four competitive strokes.

Cost: includes:

• 1 session per week for 6 weeks (Saturdays only)

10:30-11 am - 8 and under • $60

11-11:45 am - 9-12 years • $66

12-1 pm - 13+ years • $72

Discounts available:

• 5% discount for 1st sibling. 10% discount for any additional siblings.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Come in a swim suit, and bring a towel and goggles. Our preference is that your swimmer wear goggles, and not a mask that covers their nose. Part of their training is to learn proper breathing techniques which require their noses to be exposed. If your child has long hair, please plan to pull it back and out of their face.

CAN WE WATCH?

Absolutely! There are bleachers where you can observe. However, we ask that you remain at a distance where your child is not distracted. Please refrain from interacting with your child while lessons are in session, unless otherwise requested by a team member. Our staff is trained to provide the best care and instruction for your swimmer(s).

IS THERE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

All clinic sessions are non-refundable once the session begins. Should you need to cancel prior to session start date, there will be a 5% processing fee for all refunds. Please provide 14 days written notice, prior to the first session date to receive a credit for the next session or a session refund.

WHAT IS THE INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY?

We will adhere to NC regulations, which is a 30-minute delay after every instance of thunder. We will reschedule all lessons that are cancelled due to weather.

8 years & Under
• Must be able to swim a continuous 25 yards of freestyle (front crawl) and backstroke.
• Should be able to swim breaststroke and butterfly, with minimal stroke infractions.

9-12 years
• Must be able to swim a continuous 50 yards of freestyle (front crawl) and backstroke.
• Should be able to swim 50 yards of breaststroke and 25 yards of butterfly, with minimal stroke infractions.
• Should be able to complete a 45-minute practice.

13-18 years
• Must be able to swim a continuous 100 yards of freestyle (front crawl) and backstroke.
• Should be able to swim 75 yards of breaststroke and 50 yards of butterfly, with minimal stroke infractions.
• Should be able to complete a 45-60 minute practice.
